Shabbat Ha’Azinu
Level 4 (maybe 3 soon!) Lockdown Fun
It’s definitely ‘world changing’ when you go into lockdown overnight and suddenly your daily life is completely different.
We would like to invite those of you who can, to join our daily Zoom lockdown activities.
One of the best things we can celebrate is routine and community, despite the craziness outside.
Every morning at 8.30am we have Tefillah with the Kadimah kids. ANYONE is welcome to join. Adults, kids, post Kadimah or never Kadimah. Does not matter. We start by saying a few morning prayers for a brighter day ahead.
We then move on to a Women’s Workout Class at 9.15am to keep our bodies and minds in shape, despite being stuck at home.
There’s been an AMAZING and STRONG group of women join every morning and it has become a safe zone for all levels and ages.
Come check it out, fun (‘in Elisheva’s book’) is guaranteed!
On Saturday nights we have a quick Havdalah. You’d be signing on for maybe 10 minutes tops.
Together we sing Havdalah and say goodbye to Shabbat with hopes for a brighter week….
Please note- the time was changed and we are now starting 7:15PM every Saturday night.
When we have one-off zooms we do our best to bring speakers who will offer something new and interesting for you. Keep an eye out for the next one… it’s going to be special!!
Coming Up!
This Sunday! Bar Mitzvah class once again!! Holding on to our Sundays as long as we have them. BM students, see you there!
Last week…
Although it’s tempting to post a bunch of zoom pictures of Kadimah cuties, we’re sure you’ve seen enough zoom screens lately but suffice to say we’ve had such a great lockdown thus far with the amazing kids at Kadimah joining us almost every morning for Tfilah and on Fridays for Tfilah and Kabbalat Shabbat!
It has also been a pleasure working out with a group of wonderful women from this community every morning.
We are amazed at the commitment, passion and strength these ladies have. showing up every morning to a HIT workout class - it’s not easy but as I was told after the class: “the after feeling is SO worth it”.
Can’t wait to have some more fun together :)
Please feel free to reach out for any help needed.
We would love to have a chat, grab your groceries or medication or just hear you out.
Stay well and healthy, we will get through this!
Sending lots of love and safe virtual hugs for a Shabbat Shalom,
The Fogels
