Shabbat Vayeilech
Level 4 Lockdown Fun
It’s definitely ‘world changing’ when you go into lockdown overnight and suddenly your daily life is completely different.
We would like to invite those of you who can, to join our daily Zoom lockdown activities.
One of the best things we can celebrate is routine and community, despite the craziness outside.
Every morning at 8.30am we have Tefillah with the Kadimah kids. ANYONE is welcome to join. Adults, kids, post Kadimah or never Kadimah. Does not matter. We start by saying a few morning prayers for a brighter day ahead.
We then move on to a Women’s Workout Class at 9.15am to keep our bodies and minds in shape, despite being stuck at home.
There’s been an AMAZING and STRONG group of women join every morning and it has become a safe zone for all levels and ages.
Come check it out, fun (‘in Elisheva’s book’) is guaranteed!
On Saturday nights we have a quick Havdalah. You’d be signing on for maybe 10 minutes tops.
Together we sing Havdalah and say goodbye to Shabbat with hopes for a brighter week…. (de ja vu)
When we have one-off zooms we do our best to bring speakers who will offer something new and interesting for you. Keep an eye out for the next one… it’s going to be special!!
Coming up!
Alongside the usual zooms we have on, we will be having Bar & Bat Mitzvah classes on Sunday this week (12/9) and next week (19/9).
Last week…
Shana Tova!
This week was short and sweet with Rosh Hashana in the middle!
Although it was a different Rosh Hashana then we wished for, it was a very spiritual one for us to be at home with the kids, singing and dancing to the different Rosh Hashana songs.
We hope you were able to enjoy the Chag together with your bubble and managed lots of rest so the upcoming year will be peaceful and calm (amen!)
Here are some of the different Rosh Hashana initiatives from the past week.
Rabbi Dr. Benji Levy and Three Approaches to the New Year
If you missed this one, we recommend you watch the recording and enjoy. It’s short, sweet and hits the spot!
Exactly what we needed during these important 10 days of repentance….
Rabbi Benji explains how a so called ‘simple sentence’ in our tefilla can be viewed in different ways, and what we can learn and implement in our daily lives.
Look forward to hosting Rabbi Benji again and hope you can join :)
Enjoy <3
Please feel free to reach out for any help needed.
We would love to have a chat, grab your groceries or medication or just hear you out.
Stay well and healthy, we will get through this!
Sending lots of love and safe virtual hugs for a Shabbat Shalom,
The Fogels
