Membership

What makes the AHC the right place for you and your family?

Members of the AHC are part of a warm and caring Jewish community. Our goal is to build relationships with each other, with our Rabbinical staff and with Judaism.

We offer a synagogue where you can enrich your Jewish identity, grow spiritually, make lifelong friends and count on a caring community for support in times of need. Our clergy and board welcome your ideas and involvement.

Our modest size, about 500 families, offers many benefits for our members. Our members have an opportunity to develop close personal relationships with Rabbi Rube and other member families.

As an acknowledgment of our desire to grow our congregation and provide support to those relocating to New Zealand, the Auckland Hebrew Congregation offers new Jewish immigrants who have settled in Auckland two years of synagogue membership at no cost.

It would be Rabbi Rube’s pleasure to meet with you personally to answer any questions you may have about membership.
