Getting in touch with Young Adults

We love seeing young adults and touching base with some of the wonderful people in this community.
As with many communities, a lot of our young adults don’t come in for services and prefer to spend time socializing with their friends. So if they don’t come to “us” (aka, the AHC), we will come to them! Loved every minute of our afternoon coffee :)

Young Adults Meet

WOW! What a night! This past Tuesday night we had almost 30 young adults come over and hang out at our place while enjoyed a BBQ! Old faces, new faces and the regulars were all there and we loved every minute of it. With the final group leaving at midnight, it was loads of laughter and fun. We can’t wait to see this awesome group of people again <3
P.s- if you know anyone who might enjoy a night out with a bunch of fun people, send them our way :) All welcome always!

COMING UP!!

Hold on tight because we have loads of fun activities planned and coming your way…

Bullying and how to find a way out…

Being a teenager is complicated for so many reasons and the social aspects play a big part.
We invite you to send your teens to this JNA on August 12 at 8pm where we’ll discuss the different types of bullying, what to do when witnessing someone being bullied and how to be extra careful not to become a bully unintentionally. This is a complicated and sensitive subject yet so necessary, especially these days.
Please let us know if your son/daughter is under the age of 15 and would like to come.

Shalom Court

We are so excited to be visiting Shalom Court soon and would love our “Bogrim” - graduates from the past three years - to join the fun on August 15 at 10am!
Every year we learn about the importance of respecting our elders and how we can best fulfill that mitzvah.
It is important to us that kids having their Bar & Bat Mitzvah understand the responsibility they now have and the values Judaism teaches us.
We grew up volunteering constantly and are grateful to our family and community for teaching us at a young age, through hands on experience, the importance of respect, love and togetherness, especially with the elderly.
If your son/daughter is a former BM student, please encourage them to take an hour out of their day, and join the fun.

Save the date!

Don’t say we didn’t tell you… Cholent Kiddush coming your way at the end of August. See you there :)

Rosh Hashana Dinner !

It might seem far away but Rosh Hashana is right around the corner and we can’t imagine not having a community dinner together! Sign up now:

Wishing you all a Shabbat filled with peace, love and rest.
