Young Adults meet Rabbi & Raba

This week’s get together was a truly unique one. We had international speakers and a HUGE amount of young adults!
Our apartment was filled to its fullest and the food was scraped off the dishes. We had the pleasure of hearing about important and very relevant topics which may cause confusion for some in the Jewish world. We heard about how the Torah sees the LGTB community, the role of women in Judaism and shared amazing, long discussions on these topics and more.
We were so impressed to see so many young adults attend and look forward to having many more events with so many people of that missing age! Thank you all for coming and thanks to those who passed on the message about our get togethers! To many more :)

Limmud 2022- WELLINGTON!

This past weekend we had the pleasure of attending Limmud and being hosted at the WJCC over Shabbat.
We met the community, participated in a Bnei Akiva lunch and enjoyed getting to know the Limmud speakers over the weekend. On Saturday night we attended an AMAZING night sharing stories and experiences, accompanied by GREAT music!
Hannah Flacks and her band preformed many beautiful songs and did an outstanding job! It was our first time hearing a band play songs in HEBREW at a bar in New Zealand ! It was incredible! Sunday was full on with lots of different interesting and different sessions run by rare and unique speakers. We would like to thank the amazing Limmud team for bringing forward such an incredible programme and outstanding national and international speakers.

  • Refuah Shlema to all community members feeling sick or needing extra care. We loved visiting some of you this week and are hoping to visit all of you when suits and when everyone is well enough. Until we see you again, know we are thinking of you all and missing seeing your faces in our community!

Wishing you all a Shavua Tov and Shabbat Shalom!
