Shabbat Terumah

First Hebrew Heroes meeting!

Last Thursday, ourselves along with Yaniv had our first Hebrew Heroes meeting. We were so happy to see our new group coming together. We learnt some new words in Hebrew, listened to a new song and played some games in Hebrew. The class was filled with fun and new knowledge.

This programme will be held every Thursday, 3-4pm, at AJCC. Years 4-8 are welcome to join!

Opening Seminar 2024

On Friday, we started this year’s opening seminar with Bnei Akiva mads, and it was a wonderful weekend! We all drove out to Kawhia, and spent the weekend in a beautiful farmhouse.

During sem, we were talking about what does it mean to be a madrich or madricha, and about the goals and aims we have as Bnei Akiva New Zealand. Shabbat was great fun and we had some peulot for bonding the madrichim body :)

At the end of the seminar, we had our yearly Veida, in which we were discussing our constitution and had our yearly elections to choose the new leaders for this year.

This seminar was great! The madrichim had an amazing time and are excited for this year’s peulot, activities, machanot and all the fun along the way!
