Shabbat Tetzaveh

Hebrew Heroes making cupcakes :)

Last Thursday, Yaniv and Ariel had a great Hebrew Heroes meeting, with 16 participants!
The kids got a recipe in Hebrew, translated it and then got the ingredients and made amazing chocolate cupcakes (luckily, they got the translation right 😉).
While the cupcakes were in the oven, there were more Hebrew activities outside.
It was a great class and we are looking forward to seeing this group get bigger :)

This programme will be held every Thursday, 3-4pm, at AJCC. Years 4-8 are welcome to join!

JYA Shabbat Dinner ✨

Last Friday, we hosted about 10 young adults - both members and non-members - for Shabbat dinner at the AJCC after the Friday night service.
Dinner was great and we enjoyed fun conversations and getting to know new people, all while enjoying amazing food that Ariel made for us :)

Kids Shabbat Programme is back!

We are back with fun activities for kids during Shabbat morning services.

Every week, we will have one of the incredible Bnei Akiva mads joining the kids with fun and interactive plans for those times. We will also talk with the kids about this week’s Torah portion, and will have a short t'filah session.

Big thank you to Yaniv & Na’ama who led it in the past few weeks, and to our BA mads who will join us from now on :)

Bar & Bat Mitzvah classes

At all our meetings we start our sessions with a Shacharit service with the community.

All are welcome to join us for Shachrit on Sundays at 9am!

This week, we were talking about the Tanach and about the Oral Torah. We are happy to have new kids joining our group and to see the participance and interest they have in learning more about becoming an adult in the Jewish world.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah celebration - class of 2023 ✨

During the weekend, we gathered together to celebrate the end of this special year in those young
adults' life! The kids participated in BM classes throughout the year, despite
many changes and challenges.

We heard about their projects, and got some tips for the future from the Rabbi, the Chairman, the parents and the amazing previous Shlichim - Noam & Elisheva - who sent us a message from overseas.

Thank you all for joining us and we are looking forward to seeing you at our community activities soon! 🤗
