Hebrew Heroes getting ready for Shabbat!

On Thursday, we learnt about Hafrashat Challah and about the impact that this Mitzvah has on our Shabbat. We made our own Challot and they were delicious!

We also talked about heroism and we got to know an Israeli kid who was a hero in the current war and later listened to a new Israeli song about the hero that lives in any one of us.

Yom HaAtzmaut BBQ 🍔🥙

On Sunday, we celebrated Yom Ha’Atzmaut with a yummy BBQ, fun Israeli music, activities for the kids and a joint Peula by Bnei Akiva & Habonim Dror Madrichim!

150+ people joined our celebrations and we look forward to many more joyous occasions in the future together.

Holidays season is over, and we are grateful for this great month! It was wonderful to see so many community members during the services and different activities, and we hope to keep seeing you around :)
