Ladies’ Night

Unfortunately our fun ladies’ night was postponed due to Auckland going into Level 3.
Although we had almost 20 women signed up and had done lots of preparation, we had to pause the excitement and we will wait until the time is right.
The ladies will need pampering time for themselves more than ever!
If Covid-19 allows us, we would appreciate your new RSVPs to Elisheva : 021-488-050.

A small reminder about this evening:

A few months ago I discovered this unbelievable beauty therapist. Professional, natural, gentle and extremely sweet.
She makes her way to Auckland every week to treat ladies in the city and works her magic on many happy clients. I wish I had a “before and after” picture but I can honestly say I put on a lot less make up thanks to her.

MONDAY (15/3) 7:30PM: she is coming to share her knowledge with YOU with basic tips to enhance your face.

Please join us for a ‘ladies’ night’ with healthy, nourishing food and a session with Laura at our apartment.

You are welcome to bring your usual facial products and Laura will give you some guidance on how and what will fit your skin type best.

***LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE***

Attached is a link to Laura’s business page and an amazing review on her outstanding care.

Hope to see you there!

P.S. Laura will be selling products she imports to NZ at the end of the night, for those interested.

Last week!

Bar & Bat Mitzvah class

We had such an amazing time getting to know our students for the year ahead. We are excited to be teaching a new group of B & B Mitzvah kids and can tell, already, it will be a meaningful year. Our first class started off with a short learning session - parents & students. We loved seeing the parents learning with their children and working together to figure out the worksheet.
We sent the class back to basics, finding the sources, where it all comes from and why we celebrate such a special age.
We loved hearing from the parents that this is the first time they have looked into the basic sources which explain the true meaning of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Bnei Akiva Mishlochey Manot

Thank you BA leaders for once again, pulling off a wonderful initiative of Mishlochey Manot for the community.
Florence Cohen Smith, for the second year now, has run this project with lots of patience, positive attitude and great skills.
We had many Mads join the fun and help make this a team effort. Good job to all, so proud to see this group become a kicking movement with so many initiatives coming up!

Pre School makes Ozney Haman (AKA Hamentashen)

We had fun visiting the pre school and making some yummy Hamentashen together. It was amazing to hear how much they know about Purim and the Megillah of Esther at such a young age.
Thank you to the amazing staff for giving our little ones the knowledge and tradition we absolutely love.
Together with some singing and dancing (to the most amazing Purim songs ever!) we rolled out the dough and filled it with lots of chocolate. Can’t wait to see all those little ones dressed up at Megillah reading!
Almost Purim Sameach to all!

JNA Bonfire at the AHC

First JNA of the year! We had a blast around the bonfire, eating yummy stuffed potatoes, hot soup and marshmallows for dessert. We couldn’t think of a better way to start the year with great company, laughter and fun.

If you or anyone you know is 15+ make sure you don’t miss our next JNA!

Thanks to all the legends that showed up, see you next time!

Wishing you all a healthy, happy, fun and active week ahead.
