Making Aliyah!

Thank you to all those who joined the journey to Israel with Itamar. With such fun and humour it was great seeing Israel from afar and learning more about some of the most amazing places in Israel. We loved the bonus of seeing some pictures from sights we as Jews can visit nowadays.

Israeli Night

We are grateful for special friends that stopped by to enjoy some homemade hummus.
You can’t have an Israeli night without hummus. . . and some hot, homemade falafel and lachuh (Yemenite bread).
If you miss Israeli food, give us a shout and we’ll treat you to some yummy stuff.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah Class- MAZAL TOV NOA!

What does T’eshuva really mean and what are the three stages to real T’eshuva?
We loved our meaningful learning this week with our B&B Mitzvah group.
Although times are odd, we are waiting for live celebrations of these beautiful events and have a very special Bat Mitzvah girl this week, Noa Bitran.
Sending you lots of love and warm hugs and although we are not celebrating now, we will be very soon!
MAZAL TOV!!

BA Rosh Hashana Kits!

The great Bnei Akiva Madrichim worked really hard on making sure you get some fun and yummy kits! We hope you enjoy them and thank you for supporting BA!

Fun with the Pre School

Apples & Honey and handmade Rosh Hashana cards were lots of fun to make with the amazing pre-schoolers.
Naveh joined the fun and is preparing herself to join Kadimah’s great pre-school next year.
Thank you to the wonderful staff and kids; we love being together and making fun things with you!

Hebrew Club Celebrates Rosh Hashana!

With delicious caramelised apples, this amazing group of children would like to wish you all a Shana Tova!
Learning the Hebrew words for all the ingredients that we used and dishes that we made will definitely be useful for one-on-one conversations.

Care packages for our loved youth leaders

With lots of love for our Madrichim in Bnei Akiva, we decided they should have some yummy and nourishing Rosh Hashana treats.
We feel blessed to work with these young adults and are looking forward to creating together many more events, programs and camps for the Jewish children and youth of NZ.

We are so lucky to have our fellow Shlichim in Australia and wanted to wish them all a Shana Tova from all of us!
We might be geographically far away but we are together at heart and are doing our best to be worthy Shlichim for our respective communities.
May it be a year full of accomplishments and good health!

Wishing you all a Shana Tova!
Thank you for the past year together as we are looking forward to another wonderful year together!
