Shabbat Vayeira
Shabbat Project 2022
This weekend and Shabbat the Jews of New Zealand will be celebrating the Shabbat project. Together, we will joinc in a massive Challah bake with over 120 women and girls signed up! We then will enjoy a community lunch at the AHC, catered by our Kosher Deli.
It is a weekend of celebration, unity and togetherness. A weekend which brings everyone together, regardless of who we are, how we dress, what we eat and how we grew up.
This project calls for creating a strong loving family, in the big sounding word, community. We call and invite you to join in. Whether you are signed up to one of these events or not, find a moment during this Shabbat to connect. Do something different, make your Shabbat special and know, you are part of a bigger picture and without you, the picture is not whole.

LAST WEEK
We would like to thank a community member who gave us the gift of a getaway for a few days after (and before) a very busy time, to enjoy the most beautiful scenery on Aotea.
We enjoyed spending time with our kids and not needing to run anywhere. It was a true blessing.
We are grateful for this opportunity and the unforgettable memories we will forever cherish.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
Some pictures for you to enjoy…
Refuah Shlema to all community members feeling sick or needing extra care. Know we are thinking of you all and missing seeing your faces in our community!
Looking forward to seeing you all join this year’s Shabbat project!💜
