Shabbat Vayetzei

Our Lockdown Homemade Programmes …

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO JOIN!

Every morning at 8.30am we have Tefillah with the Kadimah kids. ANYONE is welcome to join. Adults, kids, post Kadimah or never Kadimah. Does not matter. We start by saying a few morning prayers for a brighter day ahead.
We then move on to a Women’s Workout Class at 9.15am to keep our bodies and minds in shape, despite being stuck at home.
There’s been an AMAZING and STRONG group of women joining every morning and it has become a safe zone for all levels and ages. Come, check it out, fun is guaranteed!
Seeing the end of Shabbat time changes every week, we will always have Havdalah 10 minutes after Shabbat so be sure to look up the AHC main page and site, to see what time Shabbat is out.
Looking forward to seeing you there <3

SUMMER CAMP 2021!

Although nothing these days is certain, we’re SO excited (and a bit nervous) for summer camp around the corner. We’re hoping and praying everything will go smoothly and we’ll be able to have camp as usual.
Please know we are doing our absolute best to have plan A, B, C and D in preparation for any scenario.
The amazing camp leader, Sacha Sampson and her just as amazing Sgan, Noa Grinberg are working very hard to ensure a safe, happy and unique camp for the wonderful youth and kids of BA.

REMINDER: BNEI AKIVA SUMMER CAMP 2021

Dear Parents and Supporters,

Bnei Akiva New Zealand & Habonim Dror Aotearoa New Zealand are committed to prioritising the health & safety of our chanichim, madrichim and wider community as we run our camps this summer.

As part of our commitment to creating covid-safe environments, both of our movements have made the decision to require everyone who is 12 and over to be double vaccinated in order to attend our camps.

All of our madrichim are on their way to being fully vaccinated by camp.

We will soon be advising parents of the exact policies and requirements for Bnei camp, including for those who turn 12 shortly before camp, and for children with medical conditions that exempt them from vaccination.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch with us here or contact Sacha +64 20 4023 1866 or email camp@bneiakiva.org.nz.

KEEP AN EYE OUT!

We have a few events (in person!!) in the making and hope you, too, are excited for some awesome things to come! Can’t wait to see you all in real life!

  • JNA!

  • Young adults!

  • Chanukah CARNIVAL!

SO excited to hear there is a light at the end of this lockdown tunnel.
Looking forward to being together again, spending Shabbatot together, coming in for events and mostly, watching the kids of the community learn, grow and flourish in their life and Jewish journey.
As always, please feel free to reach out for any help needed.
Sending lots of love and safe virtual hugs for a Shabbat Shalom,
The Fogels

Generously supported by the Joyce Fisher Charitable Trust
