Machane Just Jew it - Recovery!!

Winter camp was loads of FUN. Alongside the fun adventures and social aspect, this camp had a big emphasis on Jewish education. We dove into deep subjects, learning more about where each individual fits in the Jewish world and what we need to keep exploring about ourselves. The Madrichim worked extremely hard taking care of each Chanich and Chanicha while sleeping in very stiff bunk beds and “enjoying'“ frozen mornings with a nice -2 degrees outside.
We’d like to thank our lead cook Tanya Thompson and all her amazing food prep helpers as well as each and every one of our community members and friends who helped make this camp possible by donations, volunteering time and energy, supporting in various ways and so much more. We are grateful to know BA has such a wonderful support system to allow it to keep running such an important youth programme.
We’re also aware we were lucky to be able to fly almost all our Aussie mads over when we did. This camp we had new junior Mads, Melbourne mads and a relatively big group of Mads from Wellington. Kadimah Bnei Akiva!
We’re now recovering and trying to get Naveh and Eden back on track so watch this space, as we’ll be updating it with all the upcoming activities and programmes!
Meanwhile, here are some photos for you to enjoy…..
