Can’t wait to spend some quality time with all our wonderful young teens :) Please RSVP to the Shlichim.

LAST WEEK…

Kadimah Character Book Day

If you missed the amazing Character book day at Kadimah, you really missed a once in a lifetime show!
All teachers, students and workers of Kadimah wore their character dress ups on and ran a wonderfully fun morning.
We were lucky to be on the judging team but had such a hard time picking winners because everyone was a winner! We loved every minute and were happy to get the chance to dress up our little Naveh :)

RUACH WORKSHOP!

Thanks to all the wonderful Chanichim who joined the fun to ensure they had their dance moves ready for camp.
This past Saturday night we met for Havdalah and Ruach dancing and we’re so excited to have camp just around the corner…
FUN FUN FUN!

B&B Mitzvah students discover the art behind scroll writing

This Sunday we had a wonderful guest speaker - Azriel!
He taught the kids all about the special writing required to write any holy scroll and what can go wrong along the way.
He then had the kids experience the different ways to write and the tools used when writing a scroll such as the Torah, a Mezuzah, Tfillin, Ktuba and more.
Thank you Azriel for willingly teaching the students such important subjects and for describing what it’s like being a “Sofer Stam”.

Hebrew Club

This week we worked on identifying Hebrew letters and trying to figure out the meaning of the different words by focusing on the associations created in our head.
The kids were surprised to find out they know more then they think they do! (We knew that all along…)
We had some fun competitions and lots of Hebrew! Looking forward to the next class :)

Bnei Akiva Winter Camp!

Time is flying and in no time we will all be at camp TOGETHER! We’d like to thank the kitchen crew for all their hard work and endless hours of planning and arranging the menu, logistics and delicious meals. Pizza? Mac n’ Cheese? Falafel? Sounds to us like a 5 star restaurant and we can’t wait! Together with Josh & Reuben we are working on a once in a lifetime experience for all Chanichim and are SO excited to get this show on the road!!

Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom filled with lots of smiles and fun!
