Bar & Bat Mitzvahs coming up!
This week we had the honour of attending the Bat Mitzvah of a BA Chanicha. We loved catching up and seeing many new faces. Next Shabbat we’ll be celebrating another wonderful Bar Mitzvah at the AHC and this time it’s one of the wonderful students in this year’s group.
We are SO excited for Jake and the de Jong family and can’t wait to celebrate together.
May we only share S’machot together.

Have you experienced any form of antisemitism in your school? With your friends, teachers or strangers?
Do all your friends know you are Jewish?
At last week’s JNA we got to know the youth on a different level. With lots of maturity, we studied together as a group and then split up into smaller study groups and discussed the different forms and ways anti-Semitism is expressed these days.
The kids shared thoughts, school stories and feelings about being Jewish in New Zealand.
We loved the atmosphere of sharing and together, as a group, we had a feeling that we’re all in this together and even laughed at some crazy things which have been said to us in the past.

Limmud Kosher Food
We’re looking forward to all the amazing food being prepared for Limmud and enjoyed helping with all the logistics, including kashering and preparing for this amazing initiative. All food served will be completely Kosher and is being made in the most professional way possible. Just another great thing about Limmud……

Bnei Akiva Aussies
After many interviews we’re excited to be welcoming four Madrichim from Australia to join the BA New Zealand winter camp!
We only hope and pray the borders will remain open and our bubble will allow them to join us.
So excited and can’t wait for the new ruach, energy and knowledge they will bring with them!
