Shabbat Tzav

Extremely excited to be celebrating Purim this week!
We are ecstatic to share that we have completely SOLD OUT for this year’s AHC Purim party!
We guarantee amazing pictures in next week’s Shavuon and are looking forward to sharing the many celebrations planned- Kadimah, Pre school & AHC. Remember to join the Zooms if you are unable to join in person or missed out on tix!
Happy Purim to all!

P.s- If you haven’t joined the community’s WhatsApp group to be updated about all the upcoming events, youth activities, Shabbat programmes, bravery notices and more - now’s the time!!

Unfortunately, the Ukrainian people still need our prayers. Please take a few minutes to read this and hopefully, together, our prayers will be answered quickly.

Havdalah together

We are so excited to be able to do Havdalah together again! Every Saturday night we end the week on a high note whilst singing Havdalah - it’s a very short, sweet way to end your Shabbat. Please join us for this week’s Havdalah at 8:20 PM on the spot! Bring your Havdalah set if you have one :) Looking forward!

Last Week

Community Lunch- 50+ attendees!

We were so happy to see all the wonderful people who showed up for the community lunch this past Shabbat. With delicious Mexican food served and an OUTSTANDING Drosh given by Tanya Hart, it was the perfect Shabbat afternoon. We are working hard to ensure there are community lunches every 4-6 weeks so keep your eyes out for the next lunch coming your way!

Bar & Bat Mitzvah kids learn about the Torah, Nevi’im and Ketuvim

When reaching the age of Bar & Bat Mitzvah, you’re expected to “just know things”. Therefore we have designed our classes in a way which that takes us back to the basics and explains the meaning, structure and content of our most important holy books.
This week we discussed the different books, chapters, Parashot and stories of each one. We kept up the bonding atmosphere with some fun exercise and long lasting planks and enjoyed having as many bowls of coco pops as we wanted….the bonus of no parents around……See you guys next time!

Homemade BA Mishloach Manot

We hope those of you that ordered, have received your Mishloach Manot. This year the wonderful group of Mads got together and baked the most delicious Hamantaschen just for you! Led by Eleasha White, our wonderful new Rosh Auckland, your Mishloach Manot for this year should be the most delicious yet!
Purim Sameach to all!

AHC Team is on a roll..

In order to run a good, happy and welcoming community center, the people working there must work well together and enjoy a laugh every now and then!
This week we held our first AHC team meeting.
Together we discussed logistics of upcoming events, updated each other on important information happening at the AHC and within the community, and enjoyed a coffee together. Looking forward to our weekly meetings and great working relationships!

Hope to see you all at our upcoming events!
Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom and Purim Sameach,
The Fogels
