Havdalah is back!

We are so excited to be able to do Havdalah together again! Every Saturday night we will end the week on a high note whilst singing Havdalah - it’s a very short, sweet way to end your Shabbat.
Please join us for this week’s first Havdalah at 8:50 PM on the spot! Bring your Havdalah set if you have one :)
Looking forward!

Last Week

Kadimah Tfilah is back on track!

We are so thrilled to be back on zoom with the awesome Kadimah students! We meet every morning and say the Morning prayers together and have a short “Limmud” (study). This past week we discussed the amount of Mitzvot the Torah commands us to try and keep and learnt about the different kind of Mitzvot.
We kicked off the week with Havdalah and a daily question for the students to answer.

JNA - ‘Why we separate dough’….

Have you ever wondered why we keep doing some “ancient” Mitzvot that we can’t fully fulfill such as Hafrashat Challah? (the separation of the dough). We know that in the past, it was given to the poor or the high priest but today, it gets burnt or thrown away. So… what’s the point???
This week’s JNA discussed the significance of history, tradition, remembrance, hope and praying for the future we believe in - the temple being rebuilt.
Needless to say it’s hard to discuss Challah without making some! We also celebrated Josh Lipchin’s 17th birthday and had loads of fun with a great group of teens! Looking forward to the next time we get together <3

Goodbye to a true hero

This week we had the honor of helping out at Chaim Yudolevitz’s funeral.
We escorted him on his last journey in the world and learned what a hero he was.
During the Yom Kippur War, Chaim acted with much courage and saved many lives as he was able to block the Egyptian troopers from invading part of the Suez canal.
Chaim received The Medal of Distinguished Service- the third most important medal given by the IDF Chief of General Staff following an act of bravery, worthy of exemplary service.
Thank you Chaim for your heroic actions. Wishing all his friends and loved ones only wonderful memories and lots of comfort during this difficult time.

Hope to see you all at our upcoming events!
Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom,
The Fogels
