Shabbat Mishpatim

-Thank you-

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." – Coretta Scott King

We would like to thank those of you who offered to help and spent the day with us, at the AHC, cooking for the community.
When thinking deeply about the real meaning of a community, it is built and sustained by each and every one of us. Community is something which exists whether we are there or not, whether we are active or not, whether we show up to things or whether we care or not. The truth is the only way to have a REAL community is by having EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU care.
So thank you, to all of you who care, who show up, who help us make this community fun, vibrant and amazing.
Thank you for your commitment and your love, because, without you, our community cannot be a true community. And without a Jewish community, what will we have to bind us all together? What will our kids have today and tomorrow?
Looking forward to Shabbat afternoon, as a community….because each and every one matters. Thanks to those coming and hope to see the rest of you at future events.

David’s Farewell…

We were saddened to see David Saul leave us this week but are excited to see him begin his new adventure.
In support of David, we had many of our loved young adults come over for a fun dinner this past Sunday.
We had some great additions such as the Flacks boys, Benji and Nate, who are not usually in NZ. Here’s to many more dinner and wishing David lots of luck on his new journey! We are hopeful Sydney is just one step closer to Israel.
