Shabbat Vayechi

The Freidler Family Farewell

This past Sunday we were lucky enough to be able to be in the first 100 people attending the Rabbi & Rebbetzin’s farewell. The event was very moving and, together, the community thanked Rabbi and Deb for their hard work and wished them luck on their new journey.
We will especially miss the boys whom we have felt connected and very close to, throughout the years.

MAZEL TOV!

Last Sunday night we celebrated the end of our Bar & Bat Mitzvah programme. Together with families and friends, we heard the different groups present their final presentation about one of the subjects learnt throughout the year.
We have watched them mature, learn and enjoy the ride and we feel so privileged to have been their Bar & Bat Mitzvah teachers this past year. Thank you to all those supporters, near and far, of us, of them and of the programme. We are a lucky community to have them as our new young adults. Kol Hakavod guys!

CAMP PREP!

This week has been lots of fun sharing time with the wonderful BA Madrichim who are working SO hard to give the kids of the community, the best experience out there! Writing Peulot, making sure we have all equipment needed, CSG security briefing, Diane levy helping us understand how to deal with all types of Chanichim and so on…..We are excited to be getting closer to camp! We also feel grateful to be able to have an actual, in person camp this year and can’t wait to welcome all the awesome campers! Lookout guys - LOADS OF FUN COMING YOUR WAY!

REMINDER: BNEI AKIVA SUMMER CAMP 2021

Dear Parents and Supporters,

Bnei Akiva New Zealand & Habonim Dror Aotearoa New Zealand are committed to prioritising the health & safety of our chanichim, madrichim and wider community as we run our camps this summer.

As part of our commitment to creating covid-safe environments, both of our movements have made the decision to require everyone who is 12 and over to be double vaccinated in order to attend our camps.

All of our madrichim are on their way to being fully vaccinated by camp.

We will soon be advising parents of the exact policies and requirements for Bnei camp, including for those who turn 12 shortly before camp, and for children with medical conditions that exempt them from vaccination.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch with us here or contact Sacha +64 20 4023 1866 or email camp@bneiakiva.org.nz.

Women’s Workouts will be back next year!

Women’s workouts will resume next year together with some other programmes we have underway. Watch this space and can’t wait to see you all next year!

Hope to see you all soon!
Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom,
The Fogels
