The four species and what they symbolise was our main topic with our amazing mads who joined in for some meaningful high holiday learning.
We loved having them over and look forward to more meaningful (and sweet : )) learning evenings together.

Sukkot with the community

With lots of food and fun, a lot of us community members enjoyed celebrating Sukkot together in the community Sukka.
It was wonderful being together in a Sukka and enjoying such special times with fun people around us.

Hillel’s Bar Mitzvah

We were so proud watching one of the Bar Mitzvah class students do such a wonderful job this week reading from the Torah.
Hillel has come a long way from the first time we met him and we are so lucky to have had the privilege of watching him grow and become such a knowledgeable, kind and loving young man.
We are sure his performance on Shabbat will be amazing, just as this one was.

  Now that we can enjoy each other’s company a bit more, our cooking class is finally starting and we will be making some traditional (yummy!) food.
