Parashat Ki Teitzei
Bar & Bat Mitzvah class
Why is “Kibbud Av V’eim” in the 10 commandments? Is it not obvious that we need to honour our parents? To what extent do we need to honour them? What happens if they ask us to do something wrong? Do we obey them at any cost?
This week’s BM class focused on one of the most important commandments we have. We enjoyed hearing our students share some thoughts and personal stories and once again, despite it being on Zoom, we had a wonderful class together.
Tzvika Klein- How Covid-19 changed the Jewish world?
This week we had the privilege to host Tzvika Klein, a well known Israeli journalist on our community zoom.
With more than 100 people present , Tzvika shared with us the most updated and informative facts, changes and initiatives happening in the Jewish world due to Covid-19.
Eden’s Brit
We are so grateful to be after this difficult yet necessary procedure.
With lots of love and support we had the privilege to finally have our son circumcised, by his own father.
Thank you to all you sweet people that called & messaged.
A special thank you to Avi Shenkin for your love, friendship and for walking us through this day and making sure we laugh it out.
Thank you Rabbi Natti for leading the way, supporting and reminding us the importance of such a challenging Mitzvah.
We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you, when the times right..
Updates:
With much belief that everything happens for a reason, Eden’s arrival celebration has been postponed. We are looking forward to celebrating with all of you, as soon as we can.
Thank you for the love & support.Havdalah! Zoom at 7:00PM Saturday night. Join the fun!
Wishing you all a peaceful Shabbat with your families, enjoying each others company and quality time before returning back to reality.
