Taking advantage of the teachers strike and visiting Shalom Court

Visiting the elderly can be a fulfilling and meaningful experience, both for the visitors and the residents. It can help combat feelings of loneliness and social isolation that are all too common among the elderly. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for younger generations to learn from the experiences and wisdom of their elders.
Bringing Naveh to visit the residents of Shalom Court was a great way to expose her to the mitzvah of honouring one's elders and providing comfort to those in need. It also allowed her to see firsthand the importance of community and the role that individuals can play in supporting one another.

Preschool Opening

We were thrilled to be a part of the opening of the new preschool in our community. As parents and educators, we feel grateful to have such a wonderful place for the Jewish youngest generation to grow and learn. Both of our kids have found a home at the preschool, and we feel lucky to be involved.
This past Sunday we had the honour of helping with the catering, enjoyed assisting and working together with the preschool staff and volunteers.
It's a privilege to contribute to the success of this important community resource and to help ensure that future generations have access to quality education and care.

The Kosher Deli is Kosher for Pesach!

Kashering the Deli for Pesach is an important part of Passover preparations. The Passover preparations serve as a reminder of the importance of maintaining our cultural and religious practices, and provide an opportunity for reflection and spiritual growth.
Together with Sam and the Deli staff, we made sure the Deli is fully Kashered and ready to serve the community!

Shabbat Shalom :)
