Shabbat Mikeitz

It was a hard decision, but after only one day in, Bnei Akiva summer camp was stopped due to Covid.
Our Madrichim caught the virus and it began to spread. Without wasting much time we came up with a plan, soon to find out, the spread was faster then we were and there was no way back.
We did our absolute best to try and stop the spread by ending camp as fast as possible and hopefully, not infecting Chanichim.
There is no doubt, many of our hearts broke and this has been a very painful decision and outcome for our very loved BA summer camp.
We would like to thank all parents that showered us in kindness, support and love at these difficult times.
A huge thank you to the Cohen-Smith family for running the pre camp cooking, camp kitchen and making the most delicious meals one could ask for.
Our dearest Rosh Machance, Amelia, together with her Sgan, Josh Korpus, and the rest of the mad body did their absolute best to keep the camp going as long as possible and managed an impossible situation. We are extremely proud and appreciative of all their hard work, energy and efforts.
Thank you to all supporters and buyers of our produce, you are helping our financial recovery process and we thank you for that deeply.
Wishing everyone a healthy and happy summer!
