Shavuot celebrations

We had an incredible Shavuot this year!
As a school, we joyfully celebrated Shavuot, embracing its meaning and uniqueness through fun and discussions.
The students brought in incredible amounts of food donations for the city mission and the Kadimah Market was a blast.
Then we celebrated as a community at the community Tikkun Leil. It was inspiring, with delicious food and amazing speakers.
This year, we were fortunate to have a lineup of amazing speakers who captivated and inspired us in many ways.
Thank you all for making it a memorable and meaningful Shavuot.

JYA Dinner

As Shlichim, we tend to always think of a plan, a programme, a project, or an activity. Truth is, sometimes, all you need is food and good company.
JYA focuses mainly on socializing, being with each other, having phoneless conversations, and enjoying the quality time of sitting down to a meal together.
When arriving in NZ we realized not everyone keeps Shabbat and not everyone can make it to Shabbat meals. At that moment JYA became a Shabbat meal, during the week.
Friends, food, good conversations, and new faces to join the fun.
This week’s JYA was a wonderful family dinner.

Hard to believe this is coming to an end.
Taking advantage and enjoying every minute left with our NZ family.
Wishing you all a wonderful Shabbat and lots of love.
Shabbat Shalom :)
