Visits in our Shul ✨

In the past week, we had several visits from groups who came to learn about our community and about Judaism in general - a group from Oceania Retirement village and two year 10 groups from St. Peters College.

We were talking about the Jewish services, Shabbat, holidays and special Jewish objects that we use in shul such as Torah scrolls, Tefillin, Shofar and Siddur. We had a variety of questions and it was a unique experience for us, explaining our belief and traditions to people who knew very little about Judaism.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah class - Rosh Chodesh Brunch 🍽🎉

On Sunday, we held a festive morning service with our Bar & Bat Mitzvah class students and families, celebrating the new month of Kislev!
Later we enjoyed a fun brunch and to get into the Chanukah spirit - Ariel made wonderful Sufganiot that just vanished once they were out 😉
