Madsem - getting ready for summer camp! ๐ŸŒž

This week has been so busy, filled with great teamwork, bonding and tons of preparations for camp!
Below are some photos from our crazy week.

Last Hebrew Heroes class of the year โญ

For our last class, the kids were translating a fun recipe for cookies and chocolate balls and then followed the instructions to make their own yummy snacks :)

Making Chanukiah with the Preschoolers!

On Friday, we came to preschool to learn about Chanukah. The kids were singing the Chag songs, dancing and telling us the story of Chanukah :)

After a short session, we coloured bases for the Chanukiah, that later were made into actual Chanukiot that the kids took home after their wonderful Chanukah party on Tuesday โญ

Jewish Aucklandโ€™s Pre-Chanukah Pool & Picnic ๐ŸŒž

We were sad that the ZFed pre-Chanukah party was canceled, but fortunately the weather was in our favour and it was a beautiful day for a party!

There were great stalls such as handmade jewellery and delicious Chanukah foods, and the good vibes were all over the place ๐Ÿ˜Š

We had our own fun at the DIY Chanukiah stall, where kids just joined us and made their own special Chanukiah for this year! (We even had our tiny helper with us for the preparations, and you can definitely see how focused he was ๐Ÿ˜‚)

Coming Up:

JYA Chanukah Party ๐ŸŽ‰

Join us for a fun evening in our home, lighting the Chanukiah and enjoying yummy Sufganiot and other goodies :)
