Shabbat Nitzavim-Vayeilech
Bnei Akiva’s KabShab ✨
This Friday, we had a wonderful time with the chanichim and madrichim who joined us for a fun and energetic KabShab! We are always happy to have the community join us and we look forward to seeing you all during the holidays :)
Bar & Bat Mitzvah class for the High Holidays
On Sunday, we were talking to the kids about Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.
Each group presented a different custom or Mitzvah that belongs to Rosh HaShanah and we learned about the different traditions regarding those Mitzvot.
Talking about Yom Kippur, we had a discussion about the importance of self-reflection, especially around this day, and the way we respect our freinds and family.
Each of us wrote two notes - one note we wrote something that we wish to get rid of this year (a bad habit or experience), which we later all threw in the bin and on the other note we wrote something that we wish for ourselves for the upcoming year and kept it for future reference.
Coming up:
Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom and peaceful days,
Ariel, Roni and Tomer HaCohen :)
