Shabbat Project in Auckland ๐Ÿ•ฏ๐Ÿ“–

This past weekend was filled with special events, as a part of the International Shabbat Project 2024!

On Thursday, we joined together for a spiritual Challah Bake evening at the hall and had over 80 women who kneaded and braided their Challahs. The evening was touching, and we deeply appreciate everyone who took a part and made this event so unique. Click here to see more beautiful pictures from the event โœจ

On Friday, we held a special Kabbalat Shabbat with Kadimah students and the AHC community. It was lovely to see new faces in shul on Friday night and we hope to see you all again soon!

Lastly, on Shabbat we had a fun afternoon Seuda Shlishit! We enjoyed great food and company and Rabbi Rube led us through beautiful songs and talked about what Shabbat means for us. Such a wonderful Shabbat ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

A fun Sunday Peula with juniors and seniors โญ

On Sunday, we learned about the Bnei Akiva emblem and anthem and their meaning.
We spoke about the importance of having a symbol that unites us together and how every part of it reflects in our personal lives and in our actions as a movement.
We also read through the words of Yad Achim, our anthem and understood the meaning behind the words we recite.

Bnei Akiva needs your donations for new Siddurim!

We need to print new Siddurim for Bnei Akiva, that will include all week-day services in Hebrew, English and the transliteration.
