Bnei Akiva & Habo - Juniors’ Peula

On Sunday, we had a joint peula for the junior chanichim from Habo and BA.

The Chanichim learned about Jerusalem, the Kotel, Kibbutzim in Israel, the agriculture in the Negev and about Jewish and Israeli music. They had a lot of fun studying. A big thank you and Yishar Koach to the amazing Madrichim!

#StandWithUs Social Media Workshop

On Wednesday, we had a session with Yaniv and Noa Raman from #StandWithUs about equipping our young people (year 9+) with both emotional and practical tools to navigate these challenging times.

Yaniv was talking about the various ways that the current situation can affect us and our surroundings. Yaniv gave us questions to ask ourselves about the way in which we are consuming information and how can we take care of our souls and minds in this process.

Noa explained how to tell where we should get our information about the situation, how to be productive in our social media profiles, the importance of reporting antisemitic posts and content online, and also gave us tips for social media interactions.

A big thank you to Yaniv and Avi for setting up this session and having a welcoming environment for us to express our emotions and to acquire knowledge during these times.
