Shabbat Shekalim Mishpatim
Bar & Bat Mitzvah classes RETURN!
The weather might have been a bummer but our first morning with the Bar and Bat Mitzvah class was INCREDIBLE!
Our first session focused on the meaning, history and significance of a Bar & Bat Mitzvah in the Jewish world but more importantly, the importance of family involvement in the process. We started the class with a parents’ and students’ learning group and, for the last part, had some time alone with the cutest (don’t tell them we called them cute..!) students ever.
We had some amusing icebreakers, delicious muffins thanks to The Kosher Deli, and great bonding family time.
We are so excited for another amazing group of teens to join the community, find their Jewish connection and, hopefully, enjoy their journey doing so.

KADIMAH OPENING DAY!
We were so excited to attend the welcome by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei and give the school our love and support for the new journey at their new home. It was a wonderful morning to share with the kids and families of the Kadimah community.
We hope and pray the school will keep succeeding, and flourishing, whilst also welcoming new students and families with this exciting move.
Refuah Shlema to all community members feeling sick or needing extra care. Know we are thinking of you all and missing seeing your faces in our community!
Shabbat Shalom :)
