Giving a tour of Greys Ave, one final time..

This week we had the pleasure of guiding a group of 30 Israeli travelers around the AHC.
Two of the travelers were special guests, former NZ Shlichim from 50 years ago- Ofra and Shimon Givon. It was amusing comparing notes, hearing about their experience in New Zealand as Shlichim, and how they remember the AHC.
Together we spoke about the community, and the Jewish people here in NZ as a whole and did our best to answer as many questions as we could. It was a great reminder of home and the Israeli culture we grew up with.

L’Chaim!

School might have been postponed by a bit but the hard work is well underway and the community, preschool and school are working constantly to ensure a smooth, exciting and meaningful beginning!
This week we came together to celebrate the past few weeks of the move. It’s so exciting being part of such a big change and seeing the progress that each day brings with it. Thank you to all the volunteers and workers for helping to make this move happen. Can’t wait to see the place up and running!

Refuah Shlema to all community members feeling sick or needing extra care. Know we are thinking of you all and missing seeing your faces in our community!
Shabbat Shalom :)
