We are looking to appoint a new Rabbi!
The Auckland Hebrew Congregation Successfully relocated from the inner city to a new campus located in the eastern suburbs of Auckland, an area that geographically has the majority of Auckland Jews living. This is the most significant change the community has made since its inception in the 1850s, and we have one key piece of our move missing.
The new campus has ample facilities to accommodate the various components of the Auckland Hebrew Congregation, Kadimah School and Pre-School as well as key Jewish organisations which are part of the Auckland fabric.
We have the vision in place and know what we want to achieve to create an inter-generational step change, which the new site offers the congregation.
What we don't have is a charismatic Rabbinic family to join us at the new site and take the lead for our spiritual growth and pastoral care.
