This support enables our community to flourish and is essential to its wellbeing.
New Zealand tax rules allow members to claim a tax rebate on one-third of any donation, making financial support given to the community less of an impact on family resources.

What makes the Auckland Hebrew Congregation the right place for you and your family?
Our modest size, about 500 families, offers many benefits for our members. In addition to the usual membership benefits, such as participating in a range of services, religious educational instruction for children, young adults and adults, and High Holiday services, our members have an opportunity to develop close personal relationships with Rabbi Friedler and other member families.
Members also receive significant discounts on the purchase of Kosher meat from the Greys Avenue Deli, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Mikveh, Weddings and Funerals.
As an acknowledgment of our desire to grow our congregation and provide support to those relocating to New Zealand, the Auckland Hebrew Congregation offers new Jewish immigrants who have settled in Auckland two years of synagogue membership at no cost.
It would be Rabbi Friedler’s pleasure to meet with you personally to answer any questions you may have about membership.
