Mezuzahs

A Mezuzah is a mitzvah from the Torah and is a parchment on which is written Parshas Shema as well as Parshas Va'ih Am Shemu.
The Mezuzah is placed in the doorway of the house on the right (as well as in every room you live in) so that we remember each time we enter the home or a room in the house the uniqueness and awe.

In the Sages, it is also stated that the Mezuzah protects the person from harm and that he will not sin. The Mezuzah should be written by a qualified author as there are many laws and details in the form of writing. After being written the Mezuzah is carefully checked that there are no missing or unnecessary letters and that there is no other defect and only then can it be used.

Over time, the Mezuzahs wear out and can be disqualified, so it is recommended to check the Mezuzahs every three years, especially the Mezuzah at the door of the house, which has often been damaged by rain and sun.

The Mezuzahs sold here were written by Azriel after he was certified by the Just Shift Institute in Israel. You are invited to inspect the quality of the Klaf (card) and the writing and choose the size that suits you. The Mezuzahs come enclosed in plastic for protection, but without a housing.

The mezuzahs come with a 5-year warranty

Tefillin

Laying Tefillin is a mitzvah from the Torah and they are like a kind of "houses" (box) made of pure animal skin in which there are four parshas from the Torah that are written on parchment (which are Kadesh (Exodus 13:1-10), Vehayah ki yeviacha (Exodus 13:11-16), Shema (Deut. 6:4-9) and Vehaya (Deut. 11:13-21). The Tefillin are made of two units, one placed on the bicep of the weaker arm and one on the head

One should approach the use of Tefillin with great respect and therefore begin to lay only from the age of Bar Mitzvah.

There are a lot of details and laws in Tefillin and the writing of the parshas, so the preparation of the "houses" and the writing of the parshas are done only by those who have studied and been authorised to do so. If Tefillin contain one letter too many, too few or simply an incorrect letter, the Tefillin are not kosher.

The Tefillin sold on the site were written by and examined by an expert proofreader.

The Tefillin come with a fancy case and a 10-year warranty.

Ketubahs

The Ketubah is a kind of commitment agreement between a man and a woman signed at the Chupah (canopy). It is thought of as a Jewish marriage contract though in fact, the bride and groom themselves do not sign the Ketubah, two witnesses do. Traditionally, the Ketubah contained the husband’s obligations to his wife and made provisions for her protection in the event of divorce or her husband’s death.

While a Ketubah is a legal document, there is nothing wrong with making it look beautiful. Many couples chose a design they like and the inscription they want and frame their Ketubah for display in their homes.

You are welcome to choose the structure of the writing of the Ketubah, and the decorations, all according to your personal taste, and all with personal guidance and advice.
