The Auckland Hebrew Congregation is a Modern Orthodox Congregation, committed to provide Shul Services filled with spiritual upliftment, as well as educational and social events for all age groups in our warm and welcoming communal atmosphere.
Our hardworking Shlichim, Bnei Akiva Madrichim and the staff at AHC are proud to offer a diverse range of educational programmes like Praying Potato Heads for the young ones and L&P for our teens. Camps, classes and discussion groups are run for people of all ages, backgrounds and observance levels to further their understanding of Judaism.

Bnei Akiva New Zealand is a non-profit organisation which operates on a volunteer basis as a social group for Jewish youth. They hold weekly recreational and educational activities and host camps bi-annually during the winter and summer school vacations.

The Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) is the federal body for Jewish student societies at university campuses in Australia and New Zealand. Born in Israel, Rabbi Friedler studied law and rabbinical ordination conjointly. After a year practising law and finding himself buried in paperwork, he realised he was suited to a career that was more people orientated and found a niche with rabbinical studies.

The Auckland Jewish Immigration (AJI) is a volunteer immigration organisation working under the auspices of the Auckland Hebrew Congregation. They offer free advice to new immigrants on the immigration procedures, finding jobs, accommodation and schooling.
The Community Security Group (CSG) is a dedicated group of volunteers who work hard to ensure the safety and security of their friends, family and fellow congregants. CSG provides preventative, responsive and consultative services to the Auckland Jewish Community.
